On Jan 22, 2018, Oriemac, the whole company started its journey to Phuket, Thailand. All of us spent a full four-day holiday there. Everyone was excited about the company’s first overseas vacation.
Phuket is one of the southern provinces of Thailand, which consists of the island of Phuket, the country's largest island, and another 32 smaller islands off its coast. It formerly derived its wealth from tin and rubber, and also enjoys a rich and colorful history.
Everyone spent their free time during the first day, such as shopping, sunbathing, and relaxing in the hotel. When the night came, our company's annual party began grandly. The executives reviewed the company’s history, the ups and downs through wonderful speeches. Based on the summary and award ceremony of the company's performance in 2017, it also had a good outlook and expectation for 2018.
The next day, we first took a cruise to enjoy the views of PhangNga's islands, especially the most famous James Bond Island. Boating under the stalactite cave, riding elephants and watching their shows, it was very interesting. The Water-Splashing Festival and Simon Cabaret Show both were fantastic and hard to forget.
On the third day, we had fun in PP Island, Lovers Beach, and Paradise Bay, and also tried snorkeling at Little PP Island. Before going back to the hotel, everybody made a Thai spa and oil massage to eliminate our fatigues.
Our company went to the local temple to worship the PhraPhrom and prayed for ourselves in the last day’s early morning. We also visited the Jewelry Center and Phuket Modern Latex Park, watched the thrilling snakes show and cute dolphins show. Finally, everyone tasted Thai specialties, bird's nestand went crazy shopping in the King Poweras well.
What a wonderful and exciting trip! This journey makes us more united as one. We firmly believe Oriemac will become better and better in the future.
