Cummins Multi-fuel Engine Platform at North American Pulling ShowPublication Date: 2022-11-07 Back
One of the three largest construction machinery exhibitions in the world and the largest in North America, the show is held every three years to showcase the industry's latest construction machinery and equipment and related technologies.
Designed to meet the next stage of emissions, the new power platform features significantly higher power density and a more compact installation size, enabling improved plant performance and productivity while maintaining operational cost advantages.
The new generation 15-litre multi-fuel heavy-duty power platform on display features a universal base engine, as well as cylinder heads and fuel systems tailored for hydrogen, natural gas, diesel and biofuels including hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO). Its hydrogen internal combustion engine has a power range of 400 to 530 hp and a maximum torque of 2,600 Nm; renewable biogas engines for specific applications have a power range of 400 to 510 hp and a maximum torque of 2,500 Nm; and advanced diesel engines have a wide power range covering 450 to 650 hp and a maximum torque of up to 3,200 Nm.
The North American Pull Show has kicked off and Cummins will be showcasing its long-term growth strategy with a zero carbon goal at its core, so come and see us at the Cummins booth.
