The 7th Mini Excavator and Small Equipment
Demonstration, themed “Uniting Dreams, Winning Together, Moving Forward,” was
grandly held in Wuhan, Hubei on October 22. CATERPILLAR showcased three mini
hydraulic excavators—the CAT® 301.7 CR, CAT 302 CR, and CAT 303 CR—which became
the center of attention with their outstanding performance and innovative
technology.
Throughout the event, CATERPILLAR showcased its formidable brand strength and product advantages. Diverse interactive experiences drew numerous attendees to test drive the machines, allowing them to explore the performance and handling of CAT mini excavators in a relaxed atmosphere. Cameron Balzat, Marketing Manager of CATERPILLAR's Small Infrastructure Products Division, delivered a keynote speech detailing the core technological highlights of CAT mini excavators. He emphasized that these machines feature intelligent control systems enabling precise and efficient operations. Their powerful powertrains deliver robust performance while significantly reducing fuel consumption, helping users achieve cost savings and increased productivity. From municipal pipeline laying to landscaping projects, CAT mini excavators demonstrate outstanding adaptability and reliability across diverse scenarios, showcasing CATERPILLAR's deep technical expertise in the mini excavator segment.
During the product demonstration, the CAT 301.7 CR flexibly executed digging, material handling, and travel operations in simulated confined spaces. Its one-button switch between right-hand and left-hand controls fully showcases its efficient and agile performance. Attendees observed equipment operation details up close, with many operators taking test drives under professional guidance to personally experience the CAT mini excavator's precise control and outstanding performance. The interactive zone drew high engagement, with the “Nine-Square Grid Challenge” experience attracting long queues of participants eager to feel the CAT mini excavator's agility and operational precision, deepening their understanding of the product's capabilities.

specially invited basketball legends “The Mobile Great Wall” Batir, “The
Free-Spirited King” Gong Xiaobin, and “The Strongest Backcourt Brain” Zeng
Lingxu to attend the event. The trio led teams in a “Mini Excavator Relay Challenge,”
showcasing unique excitement through speed and precision. The stars also
interacted with the audience, sharing stories of perseverance and
